Hi. Good news today.
My calf muscles are fine - no tears etc.
It is my back. The muscles in my back are too big and strong and my abs and pelvic floor are too weak. This means I lean forward with my bum out, trapping nerves that go to my calves.
The answer is to sit up straight and do abs exercises.
Hooray - i may be able to run soon!
I also went kayaking today on Mooragh Park Lake.
It was fantastic - smooth and sunny.
Getting in and out of the kayak was a problem.
Fortunately I did not fall in.
I did get wet legs and feet from paddling - need shorts next time!
Hope to do more of it - only £3 per half hour.
