Struggling!!

I am struggling healthwise.
Anyone else got an underactive thyroid?
The only good thing is I am losing the weight I put on when my thyroid stopped.
I have twitchy - tingly fingers and a flip flopping heart!
Do I run M2M in September?  The length of Ireland - 345 miles in 11 days.
Weather outside is atrocious today!!
Wish I could take it easy!!

From a tired runner,

Sceptical but now wow.....

Has to be the Olympics!!
Did wonder how Coe & Co. would pull off this enormous event, but they have.
The BBC coverage is good.  Lots to watch via red button.
commiserations to Mark (Cav) and the Team GB cyclists.
Mark - you are amazing as a cyclist and to win for the 4th time in Paris, (after 2000km of roads), was awesome.  You are a much-admired Ambassador of the IOM.
Bradley - I hope the "BBC Sports Personality of the Year" goes to you!

Off to walk another 1.5miles.  Not feeling too good today.
Had some fits over the weekend.  Why are disco's so loud?
Bye!!

Wednesday, July 25, 2012

Hi.  Good day today.
Ran 14 miles.  Thats 28miles in 3 days.
Wish I could have run in the IOM Marathon last sunday.
Wonder if the problem is nerve damage from my tilted pelvis?
Anyone any ideas?

Fingers Crossed!

Hello!!

I hope that from now I will get stronger, fitter and (fingers crossed) healthier.
My thyroid has been sorted out, so too the side effects from my psyche meds.
All that is left now is pain and non-epileptic seizures.
I am on an antimigraine tablet that might help.
I am on a nerve pain drug that helps a bit.

Running to Peel today!
At least i can see the houses on the other side of the road today.
Blue sky too!
Bethany.

Feeling groovy again!

Hello the world and all ultrarunners - I am back!!
A diagnosis of "underactive thyroid" and new meds have transformed me.
My life really stopped 2 years ago because of this condition.
I hope to get back running and walking next week.
Watch this space.....
